O &#8220;<strong><em>Ca\u00e7ula<\/em><\/strong>&#8221; foi <strong><em>Fundado na quarta-feira, do dia 20 de Abril de 2016<\/em><\/strong>, tendo <em>Fabio Bartelt<\/em> como seu <strong><em>1\u00ba presidente<\/em><\/strong>. A sua <strong><em>Sede administrativa<\/em><\/strong> fica situado na <em>Rua Ot\u00edlio Dal\u00e7\u00f3quio, n\u00ba 185, no bairro Salseiros, em Itaja\u00ed<\/em>. As suas <strong><em>cores<\/em><\/strong>: <strong><em>azul<\/em><\/strong>, <strong><em>amarelo<\/em><\/strong>, <strong><em>vermelho<\/em><\/strong> e <strong><em>branco<\/em><\/strong>, em homenagem a bandeira da cidade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Em 2016, o clube participou do <strong><em>Campeonato Catarinense da S\u00e9rie C de 2016<\/em><\/strong>, e, de cara se <strong><em>sagrou campe\u00e3o<\/em><\/strong>. A campanha<strong><em>: foram 10 jogos, com sete vit\u00f3rias, um empate e apenas duas derrotas<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Em 29 de mar\u00e7o de 2017<\/em>, o clube anunciou que havia desistido de participar do <strong><em>Campeonato Catarinense da S\u00e9rie B de 2017<\/em><\/strong>, sendo substitu\u00eddo pelo <strong><em>Fluminense de Joinville<\/em><\/strong>, <strong><em>vice-campe\u00e3o da S\u00e9rie C<\/em><\/strong> em 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No segundo semestre de 2017, o <strong><em>Atl\u00e9tico Itaja\u00ed<\/em><\/strong> passou a ser comandado pelo empres\u00e1rio <em>William Santos<\/em>, do ramo de <em>Com\u00e9rcio Exterior<\/em>. <em>William<\/em> tem grande experi\u00eancia no futebol amador da regi\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Voltou a ativa no ano de <strong><em>2018<\/em><\/strong> participando do <strong><em>Campeonato Catarinense da S\u00e9rie C<\/em><\/strong>, ficando com o <strong><em>vice-campeonato<\/em><\/strong>. Repetiu o feito na <strong><em>Terceirona Catarinense de 2019<\/em><\/strong>, terminando na <strong><em>2\u00aa coloca\u00e7\u00e3o<\/em><\/strong>.
