O clube <span style=\"color: #008000\"><strong><em>Alviverde<\/em><\/strong><\/span> foi <span style=\"color: #008000\"><strong>Fundado no dia 29 de Julho de 1908<\/strong><\/span>, como <span style=\"color: #008000\"><strong><em>Independ\u00eancia Football Club<\/em><\/strong>.<\/span> No final de <span style=\"color: #008000\"><strong>1911<\/strong><\/span>, trocou o nome para <span style=\"color: #008000\"><strong><em>Esperan\u00e7a F.C<\/em><\/strong>.<\/span> A sua <span style=\"color: #008000\"><strong><em>Sede<\/em><\/strong><\/span> ficava na <em>R<span style=\"color: #008000\">ua da Independ\u00eancia, s\/n, no Bairro de Icara\u00ed, em Niter\u00f3i<\/span><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>J\u00e1 o seu <span style=\"color: #008000\"><strong><em>Campo<\/em><\/strong><\/span> ficava na <span style=\"color: #008000\"><em>Rua Est\u00e1cio de S\u00e1 (atual Avenida Roberto da Silveira, com prolongamento para a Avenida 7 de Setembro)<\/em><\/span>. O <span style=\"color: #008000\"><strong>Esperan\u00e7a<\/strong><\/span> participou da<strong><em> Liga Sportiva Suburbana (LSS)<\/em><\/strong>, em 1912; e da <strong><em>Liga Sportiva Fluminense (LSF)<\/em><\/strong>, em 1915.
