Com essa denomina\u00e7\u00e3o, disputou as competi\u00e7\u00f5es de futebol da <strong>Liga Blumenauense de Desportos<\/strong> dos anos de 1940.<\/p>\n<p>Durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial, o Governo Federal, atrav\u00e9s do Conselho Nacional de Desportos, baixou a circular 01\/1944, determinando que as associa\u00e7\u00f5es, clubes e entidades esportivas n\u00e3o poderiam mais utilizar nomes de cidades, estados e pa\u00edses.
