Em 1984 o clube conseguiu o acesso com o vice campeonato. Sem conseguir entregar a documenta\u00e7\u00e3o em tempo, a federa\u00e7\u00e3o decidiu abrir vota\u00e7\u00e3o entre os clubes para decidir pela inclus\u00e3o ou n\u00e3o da equipe. Dos 12 clubes presentes na reuni\u00e3o, oito votaram contra a participa\u00e7\u00e3o do XV Uber.
