Na ocasi\u00e3o o clube paulista cedeu alguns de seus jogadores para a festividade, e compareceu com toda sua diretoria, al\u00e9m de renomados jogadores como Domingos da Guia, Baltazar e Servilho. Com esta denomina\u00e7\u00e3o conquistou os vice-campeonatos da cidade em 1947 e 1948, perdendo os t\u00edtulos para o Sport Club Internacional. O clube ficou com a denomina\u00e7\u00e3o Esporte Clube Cor\u00edntians Portalegrense por tr\u00eas anos. quando o conselho deliberativo, em assembl\u00e9ia geral decidiu pela volta ao nome de origem: Gr\u00eamio Esportivo For\u00e7a e Luz. (REVISTA COMEMORATIVA, 2000; MONTEIRO, 2007).<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Fonte do escudo: papel timbrado do clube, aqui cabe uma ressalva, o Gr\u00eamio Esportivo For\u00e7a e Luz foi fundado em 1921 e no papel timbrado do Esporte Clube Cor\u00edntians Portoalegrense e do Gr\u00eamio Esportivo For\u00e7a e Luz consta o ano de 1922.
