Com uma popula\u00e7\u00e3o de 14.250 habitantes (Censo do IBGE\/2014), o nome \u00e9 proveniente da grande quantidade de pequenas lagoas existentes nas terras do munic\u00edpio.<\/p>\n<p>O <strong><em>Alviverde Alagoinhense<\/em><\/strong> foi <strong>Fundado em 1956<\/strong>, por <em>um grupo de amigos e alguns jogadores, elegendo como presidente\u00a0<strong>Edson<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Sim\u00f5es<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Galindo<\/strong><\/em>. A sua Sede fica localizada na Rua Primeiro de Novembro, n\u00ba 20, no Centro de Alagoinha.<\/p>\n<p>O <strong><em>Guarani de Alagoinha<\/em><\/strong> manda os seus jogos no <strong><em>Est\u00e1dio Municipal Austricl\u00ednio Galindo<\/em><\/strong>, situado na <em>Travessa Frei Jer\u00f4nimo, n\u00ba 71, no Centro da cidade<\/em>.
